Toki and Mega Man 11

Toki and Mega Man 11

This week going into a holiday we got a chance to review two classics games that got the upgrade treatment.  Mega Man 11 where the blue bomber gets a proper sequel to the long running cult classic for the past 30 years.  Also speaking about games getting the next gen treatment, Toki, another arcade cult classic that is making its console debut on the Nintendo Switch with updated graphics, sound and keeping the gameplay the game from decades ago.

When earlier this week we got the news that Mega Man 11 is out and that we were able to get our hands on the game to review it, everyone here in the office rejoiced about going back into the robotic world to fight off Dr. Wily evil robot masters as the Blue Bomber.  However, when the game was installed and running, some here at the office had some different opinions about the developer direction with the game and other issues with it.  So we did a review of the game and pointed out some of the great things about the game and some not so great, you can read our review here.

Another great game that came over to the Nintendo Switch was the arcade classic from 30 years ago that is Toki.  Some here never heard of this great game that was a quarter eater back in the day, but as with any new game for the Nintendo Switch, we decided to give this one a test run and see if the updated hand drawn graphics, and updated music would be enough to get people to come back to this game.  So we were very pleased to see what we saw as well some other things in Toki, be sure to https://www.familygamerreview.com/toki/read our review here and see why this game should be in your Nintendo Switch library.

Both Toki (Nintendo Switch) and Mega Man 11 (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch) are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
