This week I got a chance to sit down and try the racer that is Race the Sun.
Race the Sun was an interesting title that came across the desk. As the game is a racer to its core it is also a speed run style of game to see how far, how long and how fast you can go in the game. I was able to see some run on youtube.com and some people have a real natural talent for this game, I however suck at games like this but still it is a fun game to play. One of the unique features of this game is that the main game mode level design changes daily from the developer! Yes, you are reading this right, it changes daily so it encourages players to play the game daily to rack up those high scores and try to top the leader boards. In our review we had some mixed reactions to the game but I encourage you to read our review of the game here.
Another game that I and our family gamers were able to cover was ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun for the Nintendo Switch. In this indie gem I saw something interesting. As the game was already out for the PC via STEAM, for RunGunJumpGun on the Nintendo Switch it was a no brainer and the game is a fun, easy to pick up and play game. The game concept is very simple but hard to master and even harder to put down! The 2d style of the game is a perfect match for both the Nintendo Switch and shooters alike. The best part is that there are only two buttons that are used for the game, one that shoots your gun downward and another for a forward shooting. Trust me you must see the game in action to better understand what I am talking about! You can check out our review here! And I highly recommend that you get this game as it is a very fun game to have in your digital library for the Nintendo Switch.
