Glass Masquerade

In this puzzle game, you have to match puzzle pieces to create clocks from around the world.

General Gameplay

As the game goes this is simply a puzzle game.  There are different levels of difficulty in the game based on the puzzle.  There is no win/loss, time limit, or even an end game, if anything this is a relaxing game.  The Game Visuals for Glass Masquerade are very graphically sharp.  As the game design is more of a art deco style for the puzzle pieces the game graphics are very sharp and artistic.  The game pieces are very detailed so when building the puzzle, it is very easy to see each piece without any trouble.  The game does not offer a colorblind mode; however it is not needed.  In our playtesting, we did not see or even encounter any issues with the game graphics, if anything the game puzzles are very artistic.  Audio for the game is very mellow and just there in the background.  As the game has basic sounds to let you know when a piece matches, the background music is just there as a relaxing tune.  As the game does not have any spoken dialog, there is nothing offensive for younger gamers to hear.  Controls for the game are very simple.  As the game is a puzzle game, the controls are around to having the left thumb stick to choose and move the puzzle piece and a button to place the piece.  The game is designed to be simple in control design so all ages can play the game.  In our playtesting, we did not run into any issues with the controls of the game.

“Glass Masquerade is one of those relaxing games that must be in any gamers library. The puzzles are not to easy or hard but just right for any games skill

Family Friendly

When this game came across our desk, we thought to ourself why would a developer make a puzzle game for the console where most games like this are more popular on the PC or even Smart Phones, but it works on the console.  When we were testing this with our gaming family, everyone loved the game.  Even hardcore gamers felt a sense of relaxation when playing this.  The game is not short, with 25 different puzzles from being easy to hard it makes the game very family friendly to all ages.  Parents can easily sit and play with younger children and have fun as well as this being a great couples game.  The game does not have a fail, or even a time limit so you can take your time to figure out the puzzles at your pace.  We personally feel that the game is a great “in between” game to chill out from other titles that may be more intense.  We highly recommend Glass Masquerade to all gamers as the game itself is fun.  Also the art deco design of the game makes it very artistic and great to see once the puzzles are done. The only complaint that we have is that at times on a smaller monitor it may be hard to see the puzzle pieces, outside of this the game is great.  In our special needs game testing, we did not encounter any issues with the game graphics, audio, or even controls.  Glass Masquerade is very family and special needs gaming friendly.
