Flutter Bombs and Super Weekend Mode

Flutter Bombs and Super Weekend Mode

Hello everyone! Again, this week we dive into two different but fun games to try out and get for your digital library.  The first one a twin stick shooter, Flutter Bombs is a fantastic game where both the game play is frantic, and graphic are just outstanding! The second game is Super Weekend Mode.  In this top down puzzle style game, you have to collect hearts, avoid skulls, and bump bunnies.  An 8-bit style of game that will appeal to those retro gamers in your gaming family.

When Flutter Bombs was installed onto our console, at first, I through to myself how indie that this game looks.  From the menu to even the tutorial portion of the game, however I was wrong.  This game rivals even AAA developers out there in the style, concept and even gameplay.  The game is very fast paced, unique way of using your energy to fire both bombs and your primary weapon, enemy design and even backgrounds.  Flutter Bombs is not to miss for any shooter fans in your digital library.  Be sure to read our review here on Flutter Bombs.

A lot of us here in the office are retro style game fans. From the Atari and NES days, we love the look and feel of an 8-bit game and Super Weekend Mode does not fail us.  From the top down action where you must collect hears while avoiding skulls and bumping the bunnies in the level, this is true 8-bit gaming goodness here.  We did have some AI concerns about the game in later levels but still be sure to check out our video below and read our review here on Super Weekend Mode.

Flutter Bombs (Xbox One, PlayStation 4) and Super Weekend Mode (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One) are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
