Bounce Rescue is a 2D platform game in which you play as one of many characters and must stop the Evil Dead that has landed all over the world. Both being a co-op platformer as well a 4-player multiplayer.
General Gameplay
The game is a 2D platformer at heart and being, so it has the same characteristics as other platformers in the gaming world. So, if you have played or seen a platform game, this game is the same concept. The Game Visuals are very easy to see. From enemies, to background, platforms and the main character (there are up to 16 to choose from once you have unlocked them all) are very detailed. As the game is more kid friendly in its design nature, it is still easy for any gamer to see on the screen. The colors are very vibrant and detail for the game. As the game does not have a colorblind mode, the game does not need it as the graphics and colors are very easy to identify. In our playthrough of the game we did not run into any issues with the graphics or it visual content, if anything the game is very family friendly for all. The Audio for Bounce Rescue! Is a basic tune that plays in the background for each level as well the general sound effects that you would normally hear in a platform game. The sound is mostly instrumental music, and the general jumping, hitting, and other sounds that come with the actions in the game. The game does not have any voice overs so there is only text for the menus, as the sound in the game give enough general clues on what to do next in the game. The game is in 5.1 surround sound and sounds well coming from the SMART TV speakers, and gamers can play the game on a gaming headset without any problems. As we conducted our game testing we did nor run into anything offensive with the game audio and found that the game is very family friendly. Controls for the game are very simplistic and make it easy for any gamer to pick up and play the game. There is a jump button, as well a weapon button and the left thumb stick is used to move the character around. This type of controller setup allows the game to be very family friendly and easy to play. In our playtesting we did not run into any issues with the controller setup and found it to be very responsive to the gameplay. As the game was tested on the console, we did not see the need to use a special controller or ever a need for one for the consoles itself.

Family Friendly
As the game is a 2D platform game at heart, Bounce Rescue! Has a charm about it in itself. It does not shy away from the fact that it borrows heavy from other platformers but in this case, this is not a bad thing. The game is not to short or long and the 4-Player couch multiplayer makes the game fun to play for younger and older gamers. One of the best parts of the game is that even though that the game does have 50 single player levels they are not to long or short and seem right for the game itself. One of the fun parts of the game is the couch co-op as well the multiplayer as it allows families to play with each other at the same time and in 2 vs. 2 in either capture the flag, survival mode as well deathmatch. In our office during our game testing, gaming families had a blast playing the game and because of the easy controls, and learning curve, gamers that are not used to platformers were able to pick up the game and play it without any trouble. This by far is what makes Bounce Rescue! A very fun family game to have in your digital library. Do understand that as the game is more of a casual platformer, that if you have a more hardcore platformer gamer they may not find much challenge in the game, however for those that are looking for a casual platformer to play with their children or even for themselves, Bounce Rescue! Is a great game. In our special needs game testing, we did not meet any issues with the graphics, audio or even the controls. The game is designed to be very pick up and play friendly and any gamer should be ok playing the game.

Bounce Rescue! Is a great family fun game that can be enjoyed by both old and young gamers. With it easy pick up and play design, fun, fast, 4 player couch modes as well a 2-player co-op, this is a great game for all ages!
