General Gameplay
As the game is a racer, more of a kart racing game like the Mario Kart series the game is heavy influence in using power ups, shortcuts, and the driver special ability to win the race. The Game Visuals are very vivid in the game. As the game is about bright color fruits, the game general colors are very bright with lots of reds, greens, blues, yellows, and other colors that make up the game. The graphics in general are very sharp and colorful with both the in-game characters and backgrounds easy to see and very detailed. The game is very detailed in its design, so you can see everything and not have any trouble identifying any objects. For those gamers in your gaming family that have a colorblind issue, even though the game is very vivid in its colors it is still not that hard to see all the colors. In our playtesting we did not run into any issues with the graphics in the game and felt that the game visually is very family friendly. All-Star Fruit Racing Audio is a mixture of light hearted tunes for the main portion of the game and the sounds that you would hear in a racing game. From the tires screeching to weapons and power ups being used, everything in the game can be easily identified during playing the game. All-Star Fruit Racing is in 5.1 surround sound and sounds great. The game does not contain spoken dialog so there is nothing offensive in the game for younger gamers ears, again this is a very family friendly. On an interesting note, during our review of the game, everyone liked the sound effects in the game as it was a reminder of a cartoon in its audio presentation. The in-game Controls for All-Star Fruit Racing are easy to use. As the game is a more of a racing game there is the left thumb stick to control the kart, an accelerate and break buttons and the option to use your special. The game controls for non-racing fans may take some use to but once you go through the tutorial it is very straight forward on the controls itself. As we were able to review a Xbox One version of the game, we were not able to see how the controls are in a Nintendo Switch gameplay, however from past experience that we believe that there should not be any issues with the controls.

Family Friendly
One of the best things about the game is the fact that All-Star Racing is a great family game that allows co-op play where up to 4 players can play on the same screen. This allows families to play with each other and race on one console. Now as we were doing our review we did not get a chance to log onto a multiplayer game, so we were not at this time (however if anything changes we will do an update of this review) The game is very family friendly from its appearance visually, to the sounds and controls, however one of the things that came up in our review is that some of the tracks felt that they were very repetitive at times and that the AI in the game was either very easy to beat or very hard to race against, so for our non-racer fans out there this was a turn off for them as the game became unbalanced. Now as we always talked about any issues technically in the game is always addressed and fixed by the developer via updates so this is not a concern. That being said, All-Star Fruit Racing is a great game to have for any ages in your digital library. As the game controls are easy, anyone can pickup and play the game within a couple of races. In our special needs game testing, there were no issues outside of what we noted in our review in Game Visuals, Audio, and Controls, if anything we highly recommend the game for special needs gamers as it is a very family friendly game.
Closing
Despite some computer AI problems, All-Star Fruit Racing is a great kart racing game for all ages. The 4-player local co-op is a great way to spend family gaming night with friends and family.
